1996 May 06 [CAN]10484 [USA]------- Black 14.1 H Sire: Mortana Jason Dam: BDM Black Correll PEDIGREE When I saw that the first foal of our mare Friendly (BDM Black Correll) was to be offered for sale from a nearby breeder's auction, I had to go see if I could add her to my herd. Fortunately I was the successful bidder, and Julie is the fourth BDM mare that I have acquired. Julie is close up Correll King and has a lot of Jubilee De Jarnette, her sire is Mortana Jason from Jackson Morgan Ranch. Her pedigree contains a long list of horses that were used daily for ranching and so we expect her to show the cow sense and work ethic that her ancestors had. Julie is not broke to ride or drive, but we are considering breaking her to drive, she would make a good match with her dam in harness! Julie has many wonderful old horses in her pedigree, including many lines to Jubilee De Jarnette, Sun Dust, multiple lines to Red Correll, Linsley, Winterset, and more lines to Herod through Captain Jack among others. She also adds a line to Bulrush through Red Flash on her sire side. Many thanks to Rene & Donna Blanchard (S.R.
